Terms & Conditions for Car Hire

The Vintage Wedding Drive cannot accept responsibility for any unforeseen circumstances for the car hire and every effort will be made to provide a suitable alternative vehicle should the need arise, after consultation with the hirer.

All initial bookings are pre-booking only and must be confirmed immediately with a deposit of £50 (non-refundable) before it is accepted as a definite booking.

The remaining balance is due 28 days before the hire date. If payment is not received by this date, the booking will automatically be cancelled and your deposit forfeited. If cancelled within 28 days of the hire date then full payment must be paid and no refund will be issued.

On short notice bookings, payments must be made in advance by cash or cheque. Cash, prior to commencement of hire or by cheque at least 10 days before the date of the hire.

Q. How far do you travel for car hire?
A. Approximately 30 miles from our base in Shefford

Q. Do the cars leave when we are in the church?
A. No. The car will stay with you until the photographer has finished with it at the reception.

Q. Do you only have white ribbons for wedding car hire?
A. No. There are many different colours to choose from, which are included in the cost of hire.

Q. I am getting married mid-week, do you have cars available?
A. Yes. We cover Mid-week, bank holidays, Sundays and registry office weddings as well as Saturdays

Q. Do you do wedding car hire in the winter?
A. Yes. We do weddings all year round in any weather.

Q. Do you supply transport from the reception in the evening
A. Yes, and onwards the next day to a hotel, airport etc; please ask for a quotation.

Q. What area do you cover for car hire?
A. We cover Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Buckinghamshire.
